"My son, Connor, joined the Tiger Cubs shortly after his third birthday. He took to the classes immediately and thoroughly enjoyed his lessons. Five years later, Connor is now a brown/black belt and well on his way to black belt success. Karate has helped him enormously at school through improving his concentration and discipline. The classes are always very friendly and welcoming and Connor is always eager to attend."

"My son Joe joined the Academy in March 2006 on the Karate program. He wanted to keep fit and make a circle of new friends and also had problems at school with being bullied. Over 2 years since joining, he has gained a high level of physical fitness and has also grown in confidence enabling him to deal with difficult situations in and out of school. He is no longer bullied. Respect for others is taught at the Academy and Joe understands that outside the Karate Dojo he is only to use Karate to defend himself and nothing else. His concentration at school has improved year on year and he has been rewarded with high grades and excellent school reports.
The atmosphere at the Academy classes are welcoming to all and Master Tony works together with the students so they all achieve their very best. I have learnt as a parent that Martial Arts classes are much more than just another after school activity, the rewards are far reaching. The new skills that Joe has learnt will stay with him for life and it's a great way of having fun.

"The Tamashii programme is clearly beneficial to cardiovascular, muscular skeletal and general health and mental well-being. Having joined the programme quite by chance, it has made a marked impression on me. I enjoy the sessions enormously and have found an inner-strength and confidence that I didn't know I had. Having spent most of my working life in a hurry, forever trying to catch up, the Programme has helped me keep calm and not anxious in what is at present a stressful period of my life. It has changed me and I am very grateful. At 73 years of age, I look forward to continuing for many years yet and only regret not starting earlier."
